ST. MATHEW 21, VERSES 42 – 44
42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures,
The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become
the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is
marvellous in our eyes? 43 Therefore say I unto you, The
kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a
nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44 And whosoever
shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever
it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
Jesus (Ppuh) told the Jews, the kingdom of God will be taken from
them and will be given to another nation, which will bring
forth its fruits.
God was to leave the nation of the children of Israel (Ppuh) . God
will turn his sight onto the nation He will issue 'that prophet'
from. It is the nation of the brothers of the children of
Israel; where from, the prophet of God will be issued. That
prophet will speak the words of God that He will put in his
mouth and give testimony of Jesus (Ppuh).
ST.JOHN 14, VERSES 15 & 16
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will
pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter,
that he may abide with you for ever;
Jesus (Ppuh) taught the disciples about that prophet, telling them
he will pray to God and that God will send another prophet
who will be the last prophet to ever be sent, and so his
teachings will stay forever.
ST.JOHN 15, VERSES 25 - 27
25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled
that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send
unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which
proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: 27 And
ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me
from the beginning.
Jesus (Ppuh) taught the disciples about that prophet whom God,
the Father would be sending after Jesus Christ (Ppuh); that spirit
of truth, that prophet who would testify for Jesus (Ppuh).
ST.JOHN 16, VERSES 12 - 14
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot
bear them now. 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth,
is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not
speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall
he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall
glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it
unto you.
Jesus (Ppuh) taught the disciples that when that truthful prophet
is sent, he would be the guide to all truths, as he would not
be speaking of himself, but, as Jesus (Ppuh), of what he hears from
God. That prophet would show the world things to come
and would glorify Jesus (Ppuh), as he would testify for Jesus (Ppuh).
I. JOHN 4, VERSES 1 – 3
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits
whether they are of God: because many false prophets are
gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of
God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come
in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth
not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and
this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that
it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
As John told us, that prophet would be sent after Jesus (Ppuh) and
would testify that Jesus (Ppuh) was the Christ who came in the
flesh, so that we should know him.
Note: The same as all of the verses in this chapter, the
above verses are very clear that a true prophet of God was
to be sent after Jesus Christ (Ppuh), that's why John taught us to
test the prophets before we believe in them, and taught us
the sign of the true prophet of God. If a true prophet of God
was not to be sent after Jesus (Ppuh), then obviously John would
not of taught us the sign of that true prophet, but instead
he would have taught us to disbelieve everyone after Jesus (Ppuh)
that would come and would say he was a prophet.
REVELATION 19, VERSES 9 & 10
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which
are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he
saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. 10 And
I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See
thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren
that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the
testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
The testimony of Jesus (Ppuh) is a sign of that prophet who was
yet to be sent from the brothers of the children of Israel (Ppuh) ,
teaching us the truth that was perverted and hidden, and
to stay with us forever.
Did God send that promised prophet from the brothers
of the children of Israel and put His (God's) words in
his (the prophet) mouth to stay protected and with
us forever?
