You often hear attacks being made against the messenger of God,
Mohammad (Ppuh), attacking him on participating in truth spreading wars, against the nations,
and attacking the Qur'an, for its strong language, and punishment promises against disbelievers.
You often hear a comparison between Mohammad's (Ppuh) and the Qur'an's
teachings, and Jesus' (Ppuh) and the Bible’s teachings.
The comparison is, Mohammad (Ppuh) came with a sword, but Jesus (Ppuh)
came with peace.
Here, I exam with you, the reader, the accuracy, or the falseness of
these attacks and this comparison.
To do that we need to ask, then answer the following questions.
- Did the Christ, Jesus (Ppuh) come with peace, as understood and
mentioned in the above comparison to Mohammad (Ppuh)?

- Did the Bible (Old and New Testament) mention anything about truth spreading wars
against the false and the unbelieving?

- What did the Bible say in those who believe, and in those who don't believe?
Since Muslims claim to believe in the one God, in His angels, in all His books, and all His messengers, since Muslims claim that God sent Moses (Ppuh) with the Torah, Jesus (Ppuh) with the Gospel, and Mohammad (Ppuh) with the Qur’an, then a consistency should occurs between all of these truthful messengers, and the books that were revealed to them, and commanded by God to spread and teach. (See Part Four, for more info on the Islamic belief.)
Did the Christ, Jesus (Ppuh) come with peace, as understood and
mentioned in the above comparison to Mohammad (Ppuh)?
MATTHEW 10, VERSE 34 AND 35
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to
send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at
variance against his father, and the daughter against her
mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Jesus (Ppuh) didn't come to send "blind" peace on earth, but came
to send a "just" sword, the sword of God, the sword of good against
evil, no matter where or in whom evil lives, for a righteous man
to be against his unrighteous father, and a pure hearted daughter
to be against her unbeliever mother. Jesus (Ppuh) came with a sword
against disbelievers.
LUKE 2, VERSE 36
Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take
it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell
his garment, and buy one.
Jesus (Ppuh) ordered his followers to even sell there own garments,
and buy swords instead.
LUKE 12, VERSES 51 -59
Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but
rather division: 52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house
divided, three against two, and two against three. 53 The father shall
be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother
against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother
in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against
her mother in law.
Jesus (Ppuh) didn't come to send "blind" peace on earth, but "Just" division,
division between good and evil, between believers and disbelievers.
Jesus (Ppuh) was sent to spread God's truth and will, fight evil, and to clear up to the
children of Israel (Ppuh) what was perverted and hidden from the scripture.
Before we read some of what Jesus (Ppuh), his disciples, and the Bible said about
those who don't believe in God's true, and perfect path, let us first continue
by asking, and then answering our second question.
Did the Bible (Old and New Testament) mention anything about truth spreading wars
against the false and the unbelieving?
